The proposed development site is located at 701-709 Chester Road, on the corner of Warwick Road and the A56 Chester Road, which is also on the main pedestrian route from the Old Trafford Tram Station to the Old Trafford cricket and football grounds.

It is proposed to replace the existing office block and adjacent light industrial units, building a Novotel hotel and Novotel Living aparthotel alongside two retail units.

This site is located within the Civic Quarter, a key neighbourhood for Trafford Council’s Civic Area Action Plan adopted in 2023. This site has the potential to play a significant strategic role in contributing to the development of this area.
